Penthouse on the Bay

Place was beautiful, tastefully contemporary and a book lovers paradise. Half water/half city views. Two decks. Full kitchen. Lots of seating to spread out in two living areas. Only one fob made it a little tough if people had different schedules. Great that it is about two blocks from Alaskan Way and about six blocks from Pikes Place Market. Second bedroom is huge and in a gorgeous loft space, but no walls and lots of light/windows. Bring sleep mask and ear plugs if using that second bed. Many intriguing books and fun games and puzzles. Love that there is a parking space, but it is tight as the description says- we had a jeep compass. Do not go with a bigger automobile than that. Was comfortable the whole stay.

Everything about the Penthouse is terrific, from the moment we parked our car in the convenient basement garage, to the gorgeous view from the front room, to the *two* spectacular balconies! Easy walk to Pike Place and a well-appointed kitchen made eating in simple and fun, though there are literally dozens of terrific places to go within 10 minutes’ walk. Same with all the other “at home” amenities— laundry, coffee makers and appliances, comfortable beds, great tv, etc. Two notes: when we were there, there was an issue with the tub and shower heat/pressure but we made a note of it to the property manager and I am sure they will take care of it, since they were so conscientious about everything else. Two: the parking space *is* small, but because we regularly have to back into our small parking space, we had no trouble making our mid-size SUV fit. You might want to bring a smaller vehicle if you are counting on free off-street parking (unless you are very comfortable fitting into a tight spot). Other than that, I can’t say enough positive things about the Penthouse. I would choose it over the nicest hotel or any other rental home that I’ve seen in Seattle. One note about the

Great property wanna go back again sorry

This Penthouse was everything a person could want in a vacation stay in Downtown Seattle. It was close to the Pike’s Market and Waterfront, close to the Space Needle, and, so many more places to visit. The home itself had all the amenities you would have at home and, it was very comfortable. The view, including the sunsets were allowed time for relaxing. We will definitely recommend and probably stay here again. We had occasion to call customer service and I will say, Kim was so helpful and knew just what was needed to solve our issue. She exceeded our expectations and made sure we didn’t want for anything.
