The house was great for our family, here for the Super Marathon weekend. Beds for all 8. Great to have three bathrooms. Nice to have the entrance level for dropping rain jackets and shoes as we came in. Kitchen well stocked. Plenty of towels and extra blankets.
We stayed in the cabin in January. We had plenty of snow, even though it has not snowed in 3 weeks. The ski lifts are in walking distance. The Hyat Sno-Park is also in walking distance with cross-country tracks and a sledding hill. We walked to the lake twice with our two kids, who enjoyed the snow activities a lot. The cabin has a great layout for a family of 4-6. Coming into the cabin from the cold felt very nice. The fireplace creates a special atmosphere. Make sure to buy all your groceries before the trip. The store in town is very limited. We hope to come back next year!
We live in Seattle and ski all the time at East but wanted to stay up there. This cabin was great for that. You can walk to the lift (maybe 5 minutes - cut through the cross country "Outdoors For All" Yurt area) and the ski room on the first floor was amazing. The house is nice and the showers were great. One thing that was a little hard for us was just the layout with two families. There is one bedroom, a loft and a murphy bed in the living area. So there wasn't really a separate place for the kids (aside from the open loft but the TV is downstairs) and one set of adults was kinda sleeping in the main room. It worked in the end but just be aware.
We loved the whole area, lodge was nice with everything we needed except tv and Xbox but WITHOUT TV ELECTRIC CORD!!so basically no tv
It has everything you need. Don't hesitate to book it if this is the location you want.
A nice home with plenty of space, though it would be quite cramped sleeping 8 total. Could have been a bit cleaner on arrival and the kitchen wasn't super well equipped but had essentials. Also didn't love having to pay an extra $70 on top of a quite high nightly fee for checking out at 12pm instead of 10am, which is really early for a vacation home where people will likely be making breakfast before going. Otherwise though it was a good stay!
