The Carriage House

Great spot, amazing location. Super cute and very clean. I would say if you have mobility trouble, the ladder to the loft bed may not be for you. But otherwise perfect place. I did meet the owner, very friendly man, but property is managed completely by the company. Just two blocks from Kerry Parks great views, I even would walk from there down town to Pike Place Market, about 45 mins, mostly down hill, so a fun walk back up :) Would stay again!

Lovely neighborhood. Near dining & grocery options. Sleeping area is tiny and hot in the summer. (Loft ladder feels a little dicey, too.) The shower is the star of the show.

The location was the best part of our stay. We loved being close to Kerry Park and enjoyed walking downhill into the city each day (although we usually Ubered back up the hill!). The carriage house is very cute, and the shower is amazing. However we did experience some cleanliness issues that we reported to the property manager upon arrival. A few things future guests should know. If you're visiting during warm weather, be aware there is no air conditioning, and only one fan. We happened to be there during a heat wave, and the loft became extremely hot. The windows open, but there are no screens. The loft sleeping area is also best suited for younger, more agile guests. Access is by a steep ladder, which can be challenging, especially when carrying luggage. The refrigerator struggled to keep perishable foods cold during our stay, and the carriage house sits very close to the owner's home, so your primary view is of their small backyard, porch, and house. Overall, if you're planning to be out exploring Seattle most of the time and simply need a charming place to sleep and shower, this could be a good fit. If you're looking for a rental where you'll spend a lot of time relaxing indoors, you may want to consider other options.

This unit leaves a lot to be desired. It was sooo hot with no air conditioner and only one fan. The loft area above is like a sauna. There was no bathroom mirror only a small round mirror. No screens for windows so if you want to open the windows at night you'll have all kinds of insects. No television or cable. I have no idea how they charge so much, I'm sorry but way overpriced for what the place offers.

loved everything! the owner is so kind and welcoming. we traveled with our 18 month old. he even dropped off our amazon packages! very clean. would stay here again!!

My bestie and I stayed for a few days. We came down from Canada and it was the perfect place for us. Super central and close to downtown but far away enough that it is in a really cute neighbourhood.
