Located just one mile from the Guemes Ferry Terminal, you can take the five-minute ride over to Anacortes and explore restaurants and shopping. Also in Anacortes is Anacortes Kayak & Excursions for water tours of the nearby islands. For hiking, Guemes Mountain Trail is also nearby (three miles) with an hour hike leading to a beautiful view of the San Juans. To restock on the essentials, Guemes Island General Store is just one mile away. Things to Know Check-in time: 4:00 p.m. Check-out time: 10:00 a.m. All guests shall abide by the good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10 p.m. to 8 a.m. Only one dog allowed and must be kept on a leash when outside. Do not leave dog in home alone. No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises.

Our family of four had a lovely two day stay. This place is the cutest little rustic A-frame cabin at the beach. Is it “updated”, NO, but that just adds to the charm. The beds were quite comfortable. The views and direct beach access made this place perfect. Easy, short ferry to the island. Great kid friendly 2.5mile round trip hike up Guemes mountain. Beach chairs available. Would recommend to anyone wanting a simple, sweet getaway to the island.

Rustic, as advertised, but cozy, charming and comfortable. We loved watching the light change at sunrise while sitting on the sofa with a fire in the wood stove and enjoyed sunsets sitting on the deck. We cooked our meals in the small kitchen with success. Did a jigsaw puzzle on the dining table and ate our meals at the kitchen peninsula. Getting to and from Guemes Island was a breeze. And our dog loved running around off-leash at Dog Woods Park nearby.
