Camano Island Waterfront Modern Splendor

Great family / group home. We had 3 adults and 5 kids, very comfortably. Great outdoor lower and upper decks to enjoy the view. Right on the beach, with a 5 foot drop from the patio / seawall to the beach. There were no stairs to access. Nimble people can negotiate it, but small children and less mobile will need help to manage it. Very clean home which is a compliment considering the beach location. No air conditioning, so does get warm on a hot summer day, But great ventilation from the sea breeze, and plenty of box fans for the bedrooms to help keep you cool. If you plan to swim or use the beach we recommend to bring your own beach towels. We had a couple of small issues that we called for help to the 24/7 service number, but never got a response from the property manager. It didn’t ruin our trip, and we managed the issues ourselves, but not a great customer service experience. All things considered, we would consider renting this property again because it worked for our family and the location is great and we know how to overcome the issues we experienced.

This is a beautiful home with stunning sunsets

The house was beautiful and the sound and amazing views were stunning - fantastic sunsets! We were there for a siblings reunion- 7 sisters! There was lots of room for all of us. Wonderful layout, big chef's kitchen with granite countertops - we cooked dinner every night. Charming dining, beautiful, spacious living room areas, both downstairs and up - big open floor plans. There were some problems with the house that did not distract from the overall loveliness. Local management took care of some of them immediately, Vacasa is taking care of the rest. We had a great time and plan to back for another reunion next year - about to book it! Highly recommend! Deborah

Plenty of room for a small gathering and dinner with friends, Main bedroom for sleeping you can hear the waves hit the shore. Great location and Fantastic neighborhood, very quiet. helpful neighbor who let us use her Kayaks.

There were a lot of things not working. When we reached, the door code did not work. We received help to find a spare key after over an hour. Many things were broken. The shower downstairs wasn’t working, the door knobs were broken, grill was nasty, the weeds were overgrown.

The house was spacious, well-appointed (especially the kitchen!), very clean, and had an amazing view of the sound and the Olympic mountains.
