The cottage is small but works very well for a couple (and canine pal). Very comfortable sleeping arrangement and lovely reading nook and sitting area. The views from the inside and outside are vast, beautiful, and forever changing with clouds and sunlight. The sunsets stretch on for an evening of breathtaking color. Needless to say, it was hard to leave. Thank you for a wonderfully thought-out comfortable cottage and setting to enjoy the Puget Sound area. We'll be back.

Thoughtful. As a guest for the week that is the first word that comes to mind. This is a very peaceful spot. It feels designed that way. The attention to hospitality shows at every turn. The house sits near the end of the road on a west facing bluff overlooking Hood Canal and the Olympic Mountains. A short gravel drive leads to an arbor and stone path to the front door. Inside is a quiet and calming layout perfect for a getaway for two. We spent hours in the sitting area reading, talking, and watching the clouds move over the scenery before us. Morning stretches on the deck, sunset soaks in the hot tub. Plenty of room to exhale. West facing views from every room. A decent restaurant is 20-25 minutes away by car, most of which is leaving the quieter part of the world, grocery store is 12 minutes. Arrive well stocked and go nowhere. We saw an eagle riding the current off the bluff nearly every day. Two small juvenile raccoons made an appearance each dawn and dusk. Plenty of other small and sea birds moving nearby. Ospreys nest in the top of the neighbor’s tree. Little things made a big impact. A Sony TV with Sonos soundbar, supports Apple Airplay. High speed internet (750Mbps down, 350Mbps up). A comfy couch with extra plugs and chargers. Plenty of plugs on both sides of the bed, plus wireless phone chargers. Comfortable sheets and extra blankets. A separate heater and thermostat for the bedroom. A well-equipped kitchen. Levers for door handles, large drawer pulls. Two comfortable deck chairs with a propane firepit in case it gets chilly. A quality Weber outdoor grill. Light switches glow softly when off, a nightlight in the kitchen, a welcoming light over the arbor at night so you can find your way home. Someone took their time here and it shows. Our only neutral observation is that the mattress is on the firm side, but we slept great regardless. For two people looking to unplug and reconnect it’s the best. We will be back again to celebrate life.

We came here from just over the water to relax and take in some beautiful views and the hot tub. Everything was cozy and comfortable and only 15 mins from the Ferry.

Very nice property. Clean and great grounds. A nice hot tub with a view of the Olympic Mountains and Hood Canal. Beautiful area and a perfect weekend getaway spot.

The view of the sound was amazing, especially from the hot tub. The kitchen included name brand appliances, kitchen electrics, and utensils and was outfitted to cook a great meal. The TV was great, picture and sound were much better than average. This was exactly what we needed for a peaceful getaway.
