We recently stayed at this property in Sequim, and the view is undeniably the highlight—it is absolutely spectacular. The house itself is generally comfortable, and we enjoyed our time in the area. However, there are some logistical issues that potential guests should be aware of. The house is very basic and lacks the small details that make a place great. For instance, there is only one television, and it is located in a small room rather than the main living area. Inside, there is a lack of basic comforts, such as throw blankets for the sofa, and the kitchen organization is impractical, with daily essentials like dishes stored in hard-to-reach cabinets. In the laundry area, there is no place to hang clothes to air dry. The master bedroom layout feels inefficient; while there is a second nightstand in the room, it is not positioned next to the bed. Outside, while the deck offers a beautiful vantage point, it lacks the comfortable seating needed to actually enjoy it, and the wooden deck itself is showing signs of rot. While the location is beautiful, the property needs more maintenance and attention to detail to be truly guest-ready.
