Euphoria on the Fjord is described as a beautiful, thoughtfully updated waterfront retreat that feels cozy, comfortable, and well appointed for a relaxing getaway. Guests frequently praised the comfortable beds, inviting furnishings, remodeled bathroom with a great shower, and a kitchen that felt spacious, nicely equipped, and easy to use. The home was often noted as clean, spotless, and well cared for, adding to the sense of ease and comfort throughout the stay. Its peaceful and private setting right on the water was a standout, with guests especially appreciating the beach access and tranquil atmosphere. The sweeping water views, large windows, and scenic outdoor spaces created a memorable backdrop for sunrises, wildlife watching, and time spent by the shore. Guests also loved the outdoor seating, fire pit, fireplace, barbecue, and the chance to enjoy kayaking, paddleboarding, swimming, beachcombing, and fast wifi during their stay.

Overview

This home is a showcase of its surroundings, best admired outdoors on the gorgeous patios and rocky shoreline. Sip your morning coffee outside on the cushioned lounge chairs, light the gas grill for a lunchtime barbecue, and spend golden hour sipping wine in the sheltered seating space nestled near the water's edge. Perhaps take the kayaks out for a scenic dusk adventure! In the evenings, set the outdoor table for dinner at sunset and gather around the gas firepit to share stories in the salty sea breeze. The interior is every bit as beautiful and atmospheric thanks to lofty ceilings and a rear bank of windows framing Hood Canal and the mountain backdrop. The living room exudes comfort and charm, offering warm wood paneling, a smart TV for movie nights, and a wood-burning fireplace encased in stone. There's also a lovely kitchen with stainless steel appliances, a waterfront dining space, and even a telescope to help you spot passing otters, osprey, and bald eagles. No matter your lounging choice, pure bliss is ensured every moment of your stay. House Rules Check-in time: 4:00 PM. Check-out time: 10:00 AM. We really loved staying here because it was so tranquil. We loved the proximity to the water and the large windows to see the view. The beach is rocky and covered in purple shells that make a lovely rustling noise in the high tide surf. Beds were clean and comfortable. Manage your expectations because the only way to get to the house is a long stair and what goes down must come back up! There is only a single lane to get to the house and so we had to either back all the way out or go down the lane and turn around in the neighbor's driveway. Parking is aside the lane and is very narrow and really would only fit one regular size car and one compact (maybe).

First the house is really cute - all wood panel walls and ceilings were kept so has a woodsy vibe. Beautiful outside area with large decks and lots of furniture to sit on. Nicely redone bathroom with a great shower. My only complaints are the beds are not very comfortable as the mattresses seem cheap and definitley firm- I had to sleep on top of a comforter to soften it. I wish the bedrooms had a small dresser with drawers because instead they have small desks with one tiny drawer so nowhere to put your socks etc. The other thing that the house can't help is you get tons of road noise from 101 above the house. If you are a light sleeper be warned as I had to use earplugs and a white noise app. It was on the cooler side on our visit but if you had to keep the window open it would have been unbearable at night. There is no A/C and if it was warm there are only 2 bedrooms with windows that open and they are small so it probably gets pretty hot in that house. It did have many fans in the closet I gather for that purpose. Had a great stay and did tons of hikes nearby but probably won't stay again due to the road noise.

Beautiful views and evenings on the front deck. Loved walking along the beach at low tide. The house needs a deep clean and some extra supplies in the kitchen. A perfect spot for a small family.

The Views. The Sun Cresting the east, whispering across the Canal to the property - the neighborly Sea Lion peeking on us daily and the questions of days gone bye illustrated by gates of entry now overgrown - locked in yesteryears of laughter amongst the backdrop of shells- 2nd Time Stay and there will be a 3rd

We stayed here for two nights and wished we could’ve stayed a week. The location is perfect for being on the water. We took full advantage of the offered outdoor seating and water equipment. It is only a few miles back down to Hoodsport and the amenities it offered. Lots of hiking in the area. Only slightly negatives were the number of spiders webs in and out of the house, but it didn’t bother us too much. And the driveway takes a bit of careful maneuvering. We had some curious seals hang out with us when we were on the water as the highlight of our trip. I would love to come stay again someday.

We had the most wonderful weekend at this place! The house was delightful, cozy, and clean. The property is stunning, beach was fantastic for walks, hunting for beach glass, and sunbathing. Loved the table outside for al fresco dining and the fire pit was a delight after the sun went down. Looking forward to coming back!
