It's the View

This house was a great cozy time with a wonderful view. The TV had issues as the left side was very dark. Had to pick up a new one just to watch the Mariners play. Otherwise, the gas fireplace and space heaters made this place very comfortable and a great escape for the week.

The view is great. The charm of the house itself made our trip memorable. We had so much fun with family sharing a lovely Christmas time here. We are considering making it a tradition.

We stayed for three nights on a winter getaway trip. The house is comfortable and had everything we needed. The furnishings are dated and the house could use a sprucing up, but overall, it was still a nice stay. There are no house numbers at the street, just look for the "Vacasa" sign to find the driveway. The view really is spectacular and the yard is big and fully fenced. Our pup loved it! We appreciated the coffee and filters in the kitchen, the large DVD collection, and lots of towels.

This place was an outstanding stay. We'd definitely be back if we come this way again. We felt comfortable and at home. The view was amazing. The location, the amenities, were all just right. I had to pry my wife off the couch on our checkout day. We were super comfortable, but it is a cabin and not a home. Expect some minor things, such as needing to run a space heater in the main room. Bedrooms have baseboard heaters and thermostats which work well. The kitchen is basic, but on par with other rentals we've stayed at. Appliances all worked well. You won't run short on linens or basics - they supply you well. Hot water was never an issue (always a concern in the mornings with a teenager). If the weather had been nicer, I don't know that I would have left the deck. I spent my mornings out there with my coffee enjoying the canal and the mountains. We didn't try the two supplied grills (charcoal and propane) this trip, but I considered using them. Outside spaces were beautiful and well-maintained. It does share a property with the owners (whom we never saw). Parking was good for us, but would be tight for 2 cars. The driveway is shared with the owners. The cabin is down a few steps from the parking. Walmart is 10 minutes away if you need something. Poulsbo is a fantastic little town with great restaurants and charms I did not expect. All in all, I have this one in my favorites if/when we come back this way.
