Westport Marina Guest House

Large with big game room with a pool table. Very roomy with a good location. Just right for us fishermen -and women!

If you are fishing Westport, what a great place to stay. The rental is a little quirky, and a little dated but for me that is more than made up by the location.

We have rented this home before. They have added some upgrades since then which were very nice. If you are fishing, clamming or crabbing this place is awesome. It's not bougie, but it has everything you need.

This was our second time staying at this location. The first time was in the upper unit, and this time was in the lower unit. The first time was good. This time, we walked in and immediately found 2 piles of dog poop on the floor near the dining table and in front of one of the toilets. The main bathroom has lots of black mold on the ceiling. There are cobwebs and dead insects in several places. The toilet in the half bathroom has a large fracture in the porcelain, and is in danger of breaking and causing serious injuries due to the fact that porcelain is razor sharp when it breaks. The sink in the half bath is ready to fall off the wall. The living room ceiling fan is crooked and the blades are so loose that they are ready to fall off. On the bright side, the mini-split heating/cooling system works well. The internet and T.V worked well. It's disappointing to pay expensive cleaning fees as part of a rental agreement only to find that those fees are not being used to keep the unit clean. We were so concerned with the quality of the rental that we spoke to a city council member about it. Something needs to be done to remedy this because it really is a great location and could be a great place to stay.

We loved the garage for fishing and crabbing gear storage. The extra fridge came in handy. Large spacious living room. Updated main bathroom with plenty of hot water and rain head nozzle.
