Rating
This house is only a guest house behind the main house the pictures are all miss leading. We thought we were renting a house on the lake with a dock, deck, firepit, and all the amenities is claims to have. In reality you get a small house above a carport in the back of the house with no view and you have to climb 3 flights of stairs to get to the lake dock. It also does not say the main house could be rented as well, which they rent on airbnb so you cant tell, it would then be a shared area with another family. The house was also disgusting! There was hair, mold, and animal feces under the beds and on the walls. We contacted them right away to try and resolve these concerns and I still have not heard back with a resolution and it has now been 5 days since our stay. I do not recommend Vacasa and will never stay at a property they manage again! VRBO has been amazing and jumped in right away to help me get some money refunded and were so apologetic and understanding. It also says it will sleep 10 to 12 people, you can sleep but it only has a dorm size fridge and a tiny bathroom so BEWARE this is all a scam.
Will definitely book again…we come to the area every year. The kids loved the games esp the ping pong table.
Loved the view of the lake has a fire pit and kayaks and the customer service is fantastic!!
Despite the cold and wet we were cozy in the fun cabin. Kitchenette altered our meal plans, but we still ate well.
We booked in January so the days were short and it got dark early, so coming back to the house in the dark and parking was a bit of an adventure, but we hadn't mishaps. Beautiful location overlooking Summit Lake.
Beautiful location by the lake. Also a nice home base for exploring Seattle, Olympic National Park, and Portland for us.
