The 650-square-foot guest house includes a well-equipped compact kitchen, a desk and chair, cozy furnishings, and its own furnished patio area with an additional grill. Drop in to the water and take your kayak out for a morning paddle. Kopachuck State Park, just a couple miles away, features two miles of shaded hiking trails, sun-warmed beaches, picnic areas, and outdoor activities that include swimming, paddleboarding, boating, shellfish harvesting, and saltwater fishing. Only five miles from this rental, visit downtown Gig Harbor for shops, restaurants, and even a movie theater. And enjoy a day trip or two to Vashon Island (the Point Defiance Ferry is 14 miles east), Tacoma (16 miles southeast), Port Orchard (19 miles north), or Seattle (35 miles northeast). Things to Know Check-in time: 4:00 p.m. Check-out time: 10:00 a.m. All guests shall abide by the good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises. Full kitchens in both rentals. The Tides Retreat consists of Little Tides and The Tides, both of which may be rented individually.

The property was perfect for my family. Plenty of room and places to play. Scott next door rents paddle boards and kayaks and is super nice and helpful.

This is the most comfortable rental we've stayed in over many years. Our favorite parts of the house were the sunroom and the back deck. Just watching the water move in and out, and nature was all the entertainment needed. We will definitely make this our number one place to stay when we visit the area again. Thank you!

We were there for our daughter’s wedding and loved all the amenities and space so we never felt crowded . The guest house was perfect for a couple . The view is spectacular and so relaxing during this busy time . I did not want to leave . I would 100% recommend for a group .

Absolutely loved The Tides! It’s appropriately named as the tides were constantly coming in & out bringing in both Wildlife and sea life. Very, very cool location. So relaxing & good for the soul. Remote feeling in the forest but so close to everything. Lots to do and I plan on returning again hopefully next year.

The views are amazing and the size of the home is perfect for a large group. We enjoyed our stay except for some dripping showers and some serious dust and dead bugs buildup.

We celebrated our anniversary with our adult children here! Our time was spent kayaking, SUP, lounging on the deck, corn hole and seashell hunting. A lovely setting with large well appointed rooms and large kitchen. We look forward to returning next year!
