Port Susan Bay

The house was barely cleaned, the rugs in each room were very dirty, the sheets in a couple of the rooms were not washed, the carpet has stains everywhere, it all needs replaced. The indoor furniture all has stains on it. The sinks and showers did not drain well. The shower curtains has mildew and need replaced. In the pictures it shows there is a sitting area on a wooden platform in the back but there was so furniture. The outdoor dining set was filthy, everything needs power washed outside. This place just needs a very deep clean from head to toe and some remodeling. There was also a bunch of trash and junk on one of the sides of the house. The host did respond when I texted about cleanliness and would have provably came out and recleaned but we had daily plans and did not have time to sit and wait for someone to clean the home. Our family will not stay at this house again. The pictures are deceiving.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay in both houses but there are a lot of issues with housekeeping/maintenance need to go through both houses to fix various issues like a broken chair, disconnected smoke detectors, broken tile etc. Once these issues are addressed, id recommend this property.

It’s an overall ok place

Big enough for a large group. Kinda quirky layout, but really fun for the family.

My extended family of 15, ages 5-26, parents and GPs enjoyed our stay at this fun 2 connected cabins situation. The beds were really comfy and there were fun places to explore for the kids. They loved especially the pillow filled nook for solo reading or rest after tumbling thru the carpeted playroom. The view of the Sound from the home and beach (after a stern descent!) were beautiful too. Really nice place. Thank you!

We loved having the space we needed to all gather together, as well as having our own spaces to relax. The balconies and outdoor area overlooked Port Susan Bay which was lovely!
