Overview
It's a wonderful spot for launching kayaks from your private beach, playing the Lakeland Village Golf Course (five miles north), and exploring Twanoh and Belfair State Parks (both within a 15-mile drive). The natural setting is a large part of what makes this home so special. Sip your first cup of coffee each morning outside on the waterfront deck, use the gas grill for lunchtime barbecues, and find the perfect seat for sunset on the deck, on the beach, or by the firepit. The open living space is upstairs on the second floor, bringing together a well-appointed kitchen with stainless steel appliances, both a breakfast bar and a dining room table for family meals, and a living room where you can watch movies and play games in the cozy warmth of the pellet stove. There's also a great workspace by the deck doors where you can log onto the WiFi and a bonus playroom downstairs for your kids. Of the bedrooms, one is a primary suite on the main floor; the others are guest rooms downstairs. A washer/dryer is on hand for your convenience as well. A delightful home in a very quiet island with wonderful views, both day and night.
This place has everything going for it! Lots of room, very kid friendly, gorgeous ocean view. The only drawback was the stairs and it could have been a little more tidy. However, if it were any nicer I would have been concerned about having a house full of kids there. So it was perfect!
Very peaceful. Stairs are not a problem.
It’s a pretty cool house. The waterfront is nice. Seals would lay on the floating docs. It’s a pretty spacious place with plenty of sleeping area. I had a nice stay.
We love coming here every year but it seems the upkeep and care has declined. The cleaning staff had not well stocked the house. The pillows and mattresses did not have allergy covers on them. And the rest of the house needs some TLC. The paddles boards and water toys are not there this year.
The bay was pretty but was overshadowed bc of dirty linens, lack of cleaning and dirty diapers left from a prior renter. Really, really gross.
