Rating
This vacation home was perfect for our family group with plenty of space! The sound of the water at night as well as the views were amazing! We were able to see wildlife and see Life from the back deck!
The view of Seattle and ferry were amazing. Having access to the beach was nice. Plenty of space for a family get together.
Spacious, nice older home. The view is amazing. The layout worked out well with multiple families. Two living rooms and multiple bedrooms upstairs and downstairs. There is room for improvement, such as if there were stairs down to the beach. We were able to get down but children and elderly would need a little help over the rocks. Another recommendation would be to add another frying pan, there was only one older warped no longer non stick pan. We cooked every night and made do, but this would make big family dinners much easier. Overall great stay.
This is a wonderful property on Bainbridge Island. It has amazing view of the Puget Sound and of Seattle. It is a short drive to downtown Bainbridge with lots of nice restaurants and shops. We were there for a soccer tournament and had an excellent time would highly recommend it.
Great location to downtown, stunning views!
This home has an amazing view and beach access. Some things from the previous year (August 2024) had been improved. One side of the railing to the 3 flights of stairs that leads to the house had been reinforced and the top deck had been reinforced so it felt safer to use. That said, there still could be some improvements that should go without saying. If you're not going to have air conditioning, have black out curtains. The living room curtains don't cover the huge windows so even with the portable air conditioner in the kitchen window, it's hot from the sun coming in to the living room on a sunny day by 6am. The garbage was just unacceptable. There was so much trash overflowing from previous renters, animals kept getting in to it and we kept cleaning it up. Even though we were just renters, others live there and have to look at it as well as having an increased chance rodents will tear up their garbage. We even sent our own garbage on the 3 hour drive home with some family that was leaving days earlier, just trying to reduce the mess of it. The windows that do open are all off their tracks and if you get them open you won't get them closed or vice versa. Would've been nice to sleep with the sounds of the water in the one upstairs bedroom that has a partial view and window that should open. Unfortunately we are unlikely use this rental again. 5,700 dollars for 7 days and surrounded by trash. No thanks.
