I loved the location of this house. It was perfect for what I was looking for. Quiet and out of the way also very beautiful. The house was quaint and the beds comfortable. My only complaint was the water smelled like sulfur. The kitchen didn't have a dishwasher which is fine with me since it was only my husband and I staying and I don't mind doing dishes. Overall it was a great time and I would stay there again.

We had a wonderful time at this rental. It was super clean and the furniture and kitchen items were in great condition. If you plan to cook, bring your own spices, olive oil, etc. The only items at the house were salt and pepper and coffee filters. The beds were very comfortable and there were plenty of linens. We enjoyed the fire pit and the property. The finger lakes trail goes right along the road, which is great if you love hiking!

I'll first say, this is a great property, we loved the grounds and on a whole the cabin is very nice. We were staying to tour the fingerlakes, and I recommend this property if you need a quiet retreat to relax after running around all day. The living room was spacious and clean, and the bedrooms were cozy. We loved the cabin aesthetic, and it truely feels like a quiet getaway, as the area is beautiful at sunset and quiet at night. While at the cabin we did notice a few small things that need to be addressed; The wifi was not working (we entered the password, however the wifi would not connect with our devices or the smart TVs in the cabin). However if you're there just to relax at night this isn't too big of an issue as cell service is decent. The living room was clean, however some prior reviews note a large amount of flies living in the top most living room window- which was still true while we were there. While this didn't bother us too much and we're not there to stare at a window all day, these really do need to be taken care of The bathroom is nice and the water pressure is fantastic, however the hot water lasts maybe about 20 min (so if there's more than 2 people it does run out quick), and the shower stall doesn't have a proper water proofing to stop water from leaking to the outer floor- so put a towel down. Also while the sink is pretty- the faucet (if not careful) will blast water everywhere and while washing your hands the water will spray on the mirror/behind the sink- so again, it's best to leave a towel behind the sink, however this should be updated as well. We did love the grounds and the view, at sunset it is absolutely gorgeous, and the location is great for stargazing on a clear night. However, the patio furniture and the fire pit chairs weren't clean before we arrived and we had to wipe almost every chair clean of bird droppings. The hot tub has a puddle of muddy water at the bottom (which again- wasn't a need, but if it was functional or clean would have been a huge plus, missed opportunity) and one of the trees needs to have it's dead split removed. I wouldn't necessarily say these were turn-offs, but little bits of TLC which would have improved the property. TLDR; The property on a whole is beautiful and a great place to stay and we look forward to visiting again! A few beauty touches and some updates are needed, however if you just need a cozy place with a great view to rest while you're not running around the FLX, I would recommend this property. If the above TLC touches and lack of wifi are issues, look elsewhere.
