We rested with friends. We booked a house for 3 nights. In the photo it did not look like it really is. It turned out to be a wonderful, spacious, clean house hidden in a cozy corner of the forest near Lake George. With very good furniture and everything you need for living. I want to especially note the cleanliness of the bed linen and towels. They were snow-white. We especially liked the spacious veranda, completely covered with a mosquito net. Therefore, we were not bothered by any insects. We had a great time there all evenings. I recommend it for a small company as well as for a family cozy vacation. Thank you to the hosts for the wonderful organization and atmosphere of the house.

Our family goes to Hague every year to see family, and enjoy the lake. We enjoy fishing, kayaking, swimming and the free summer events at the town of Hague! Renting this gorgeous home is a wonderful retreat in the quiet woods, with lots of living space and amenities, with everything we need, away from the noises of the lake when it’s busy. We appreciate getting to bring our furry family member!

The quiet solitude with coffee in the morning, the quaint town, breakfast or lunch sandwiches at the local deli and a nice stroll to the lake. It had beautiful fall colors already, we enjoyed the hot air balloon festival and we look forward to visiting the area again next fall.
