Cozy and cute !! Very clean

Good morning, thanks for having us over Mother’s Day weekend. I do want to mention something awful that happened to me. I slipped down the steps in the morning of Monday the 11th between 6am-6:30am hours. I would recommend some carpet style fabric added to those steps. I have a huge bruise on my back near my bottom area. I will go to the doctors if the pain continues, but that’s an improvement I would recommend. The wet steps can be dangerous. I can send you a picture of my bruise if needed.

Great location, everything was just as pictured online and we really enjoyed the outdoor space including the screened in porch, fire pit and lounge chairs.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The house is well equipped with everything you might need. The bed was very comfortable. Plenty of linens provided. A lovely, peaceful stay. We’ll be back.

Pros: Location- this tiny home is in an amazing spot in the Hector, NY near Watkins Glen which is great if you’re trying to go to the Racetrack for NASCAR. There’s also plenty of hiking trails to enjoy nature or fishing. Close drive to the Finger Lakes. A Walmart is a 20 minute drive away if you need to stock up on supplies. And plenty of wineries and restaurants in the area. There is another home on the other side of property but there was plenty of space and privacy between these homes. Size - this home is on the smaller side, I noticed there are plenty of tiny homes built in this community so I guess it’s a thing here. However I went with 2 other guests and there was enough room for us all. The bed in the living room is a day bed with a trundle underneath which rolls out, it’s not a pull out couch. The loft upstairs contains a mattress but the height from the loft to the ceiling is maybe 2-3 feet and the stairs leading up there are extremely steep. overall I had great sleeping experience once I got settled in the loft but it’s something people should know about going in. You will likely have to crawl when you’re up there if you’re on the bigger side. Shower was decent sized, 2 adults are able to fit inside. Amenities- the place was stocked with spices, utensils/pans for cooking, blankets, and continuous warm water for showers so that’s great. AC and WiFi worked well for me and all of my guests. The place is pet friendly, there was a dog bowl and potty bags. The door locked well, we felt secured throughout the night. The locking mechanism was not complicated. Bathroom was stocked with toiletries + towels. Staff - Very helpful & responsive via texts on days leading up to the stay. Left clear instructions on how to care for the home and shared a binder full of activities to enjoy the area. Cons - The grill outside this home didn’t seem to work. I tried turning it on as instructed but couldn’t get it going. If you arrive late at night this place is super dark, there is no light outside the house to the point I didn’t see the driveway at first or the parking signs. I saw our neighbors pull in and park their car by the house and then learned there were parking signs by our house as well. I almost left the car right on the grass
