Hidden Haven

This was a great location for our 3-generation family of 13 to spend a week. The kids spent lots of time in the caboose and game room, and the pool and hot tub was a hit with everyone. We also enjoyed the hiking trails on this beautiful property. This was a perfect location for day trips to the surrounding Finger Lake attractions. The kitchen was well supplied; at times it did feel a bit cramped for a group our size, but we happily made it work. We can definitely recommend Hidden Haven for family gatherings.

The whole experience was wonderful! From the moment you enter the property you immediately feel like a character in a Fairytale…what a wonderful feeling! Characters…sculptures… the cabbose…. WOW…it truly was a magical experience!

We just returned home from our second annual art retreat at Hidden Haven and had a wonderful time! We turned the pool house into an art studio, and it was so convenient to be able to leave all our projects out and not have to put everything away at mealtimes. The weather cooperated and we got to really enjoy the pool and new patio loungers. Eating dinner al fresco is just the thing on a warm sunny day, and s’mores at the fire pit were a hit with all. As always, the houses were beautifully maintained and had everything we could possibly need. A new icemaker in the main house, charging stations in the living room and bedrooms, and a friendly cardinal visiting the birdfeeder right outside the dining room window. Bath and Hammondsport are nearby if you want to pop into town, but the peace and quiet at the Haven can’t be beat. Gazing up at the sky with a breeze rustling through the trees is incredibly relaxing. We are all looking forward to our 3rd annual retreat next year!

Our group of six, traveling from both New York and the UK, had an incredible stay at this Hidden Haven in the Finger Lakes. The property is beautifully secluded, with two spacious homes that made it easy for everyone to spread out while still enjoying time together. The kitchens were modern and well-equipped, making group meals simple and enjoyable. We especially loved the game room and pool house—there was always something fun to do, whether it was arcade games, relaxing in the hot tub, or unwinding in the sauna. The grounds are truly breathtaking, with miles of trails, waterfalls, and unique features like the caboose and plane adding a special charm. It felt like a private nature retreat, yet it was perfectly located for day trips. We explored nearby highlights including Corning Museum, Watkins Glen State Park, Taughannock Falls, Ithaca Farmers Market, and Letchworth Park, all within easy reach. Whether relaxing on-site or exploring the region, this property offers the best of both worlds. It’s the perfect place to reconnect, have fun, and create lasting memories with family and friends. We’ll absolutely be returning for another stay.

Great time! The house and property are very well taken care of. Lots of amenities. The hot tub was beautiful.
