Great house in a peaceful setting Loved it.

This unique almost new home was a perfect getaway spot for my wife and I. Out in the country, but very handy to the lakes. Nicely appointed inside with a spacious deck to look over the peaceful farmhand surrounding it. It was handy to the wonderful Oak Hill/Oak Leaf Cafe, which we visited several times during our stay. I would gladly return here for a future visit to FLX.

Vacation home had all of the amenities I would expect furniture was comfortable rooms were large and open truly enjoyed our time there if there was anything that I would improve upon would be that the steps were pretty steep so you need to be aware of that and the very first step is a little higher than normal. Location was very nice quiet no view of the lake, however was very secluded and nice place to rest and relax.

Everything it’s a beautiful home with awesome views inside and outside it’s peaceful and relaxing! Bed and furniture were very comfortable great stocked kitchen was well stocked home is very clean and inviting perfect for a romantic getaway! Had a couple issues with refrigerator not working but owner bought us a cooler and ice to get through our stay. Also heating and cooling wasn’t working but heaters were supplied and the place was cozy warm. The water is sulfur smelling but the smell disappears rather quickly and it’s water on demand so you do have to let it run a bit to get hot. We had plenty of hot water. We would love to stay again when these problems are fixed also communication was excellent throughout our stay plus even after our stay making sure we got home safe definitely top notch service

The Cedar Barn is in a great location to visit Letchworth State Park and the finger lakes. Penn Yan has some great restaurants and the Oak Hill Store is within walking distance for breakfast.
