WHAT’S NEARBY This tranquil setting is private enough to feel worlds away, while still being three miles from downtown Schroon Lake and four miles from Schroon Lake Beach. The neighbors are about 200 yards away, and you’ll occasionally hear a dog or chicken. THINGS TO KNOW The Studio with a twin over double bunk is located about 30 yards from the house. Parts of this home are air-conditioned from approximately Memorial Day until Labor Day each year. This home does not have central air conditioning.

The location was nice and quiet. Just up the road from town, it’s a nice getaway but not too off the beaten path.

Quiet. Not fancy...comfortable and clean the way we like it.

When we arrived the entry code we were given did not work. Stood in the pouring rain as I was given 4 different codes by a man on a service call for the lock. None worked. After an HOUR of getting drenched, he finally gave us a code for the lockbox with the key. He refused to before then. House was extremely hot and never cooled in the back rooms, tv did not work. We called house host about the tv issues and she sent a young lady to the house the next day l, which meant we had to stick around on a vacation day to wait on her. She was not with the tv company and she was unable to fix it. We never heard back from the host after that even after we were told that we would be compensated for the issues. Grass had not been mowed so walking out to the river was iffy. And once out to the river it was just a deep muddy hill to get down to it. Very misleading. Mowers came two days later and woke us all up at 8am. Otherwise, house was clean and in a good location.
