Wonderful home! Favorite feature is the upstairs bedrooms facing the lake have glass doors that open to a screened in porch. Our kids took turns sleeping in the twin bed on the porch. We all enjoyed our stay and will likely rent again!
This house was amazing. Right on the point with a huge yard near the lake, it is very unique. The house is almost 150 years old and has wonderful character. The kitchen was well equipped, and the beds were comfortable. It was quite warm outside during our visit and without AC it took a while for the house to cool off in the evening. That said, my kids didn’t complain and everyone had a fabulous time at the lake.
We enjoyed our stay at this cottage. Even though it is an older house it is very well maintained. We stayed in mid Sept with 80s in the day and 50s at night and we were comfortable the entire time. There are numerous fans throughout the house. We loved getting to read about the history of the cottage and area while relaxing on the screened-in porch. The access to the lake was great and we enjoyed our kayaks and fishing! We would definitely return!
We just returned from a week stay in Rock Stream. It was a family get together and included our elderly parents (97, 90 yrs old). The main floor bedroom and bathroom were perfect for our parents. The house is old, beautiful and full of history. We spent most of our indoor time on the front porch - so perfect for large gatherings. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we could want, including containers for left overs. I was worried I wouldn't find a rolling pin but it was there and we enjoyed a delicious wild blueberry pie. The house was very clean, the bedrooms are so pretty with antiques and comfortable bed linens. Plenty of bath towels. We brought our own corn hole game and croquette set and was so surprised to see one already there! There is all kinds of outdoor equipment and games for kids of all ages. The setting is so beautiful - we had a wonderful time and hope to visit again. Thank you!
Plenty of room, kept mostly as it was a long time ago, but clean and nice. It's a very nice spot on the lake.
A lovely place to stay. There is no A/C but plenty of fans and airflow with huge windows.
