Stunning Ocean View Cabin in Coupeville with Private Beach Access

The unit itself was very nice and the location was perfect, with a beautiful view from the windows and a short walk to a rocky but walkable beach. However, the towels were approaching threadbare and the shower mats were stained. The chairs at the dinner table were as well, and there were a couple of places where the screen door needed repair. The worst was both the noise from the downstairs unit and the training exercises the Navy was running while we were there. There was a party downstairs that went pretty late the first night, after which it looked like one of the guests (or someone from another unit) threw up a couple of times at the top of the driveway, which was never cleaned up. The last full day we were there, the new guests left a dog in the unit the entire day and it was barking and crying from early morning until dinnertime. The naval exercises were worse and, although it's not a fault with the unit itself, they were insanely loud three nights and one afternoon while we were in the unit since the flight path to a nearby auxilliary airfield took them over the property. The exercises lasted anywhere from 45 minutes each session to 2 hours one night (consecutive sessions whcih ran from roughly 9:00 p.m. to almost 11:00 p.m.). If you're going to stay in the unit, I would definitely check online to see if there are any exercises planned during your stay.

We had an incredible stay in Oyster house, enjoying jacuzzi, playing corn hole and watching one of the best sunset.

The house is amazing! Perfect size for no more than 5 people. The kitchen had everything you need to cook any meal. The appliances are top quality. The main bathroom is like a mini spa with a towel heater to top it all off. The house was very clean and well cared for. Even the gas grill was very clean. The views are beautiful. Books, board games and a video game console are provided for guest use. Extra throw blankets, linens, pillows and towels are provided. We enjoyed the fire pit, hot tub and walked to the private beach. The yard is landscaped adding to the PNW experience. Even though the outdoor amenities are shared with two other units, there was no conflict of use. Next time we travel to Whidbey Island we will stay at the Oyster House if available!

This is a nicely-designed home with many conveniences. We appreciate the attention to detail and how comfortable the home is.

This rental space is just the top floor of a house and the bottom floor and loft above the garage are separate rentals that may be occupied during your stay. You could be sharing the hot tub, yard, and driveway with other people. Just wanted to make that very clear as we and others who reviewed this property were under the impression that it was an entire house to ourselves. You can however rent all three of the spaces at the same time in a different property listing. That being said this space was beautiful, fully stocked, clean, and had a great view.
