A great property in a charming spot, great for a family stay. The stay itself was pleasant and fit our needs well. The downside was arriving on time for checkin at 4pm to find cleaners just starting to prep, which had us waiting outside over an hour and a half to get in--and no concession given us for this lost time, either in offering a later checkout nor financial consideration. The 10am checkout time is very early, also. Why not noon as in many hotels? The only excuse from the agent for this was that the owners were going to visit that day so needed the earlier time to get in--this after we'd been stuck outside 2 hours on our check in. I wonder if the owners are aware of this kind of thing, and if they are, wow. Finally, while the place was pretty clean, the shower heads need to be made functional, they barely spray any water and all faucets very badly need to be cleaned to removed mineral build up.

Our extended family-ten of us total-thoroughly enjoyed our stay here in July. The views are incredible: we marveled at the beautiful water every time we looked out the window! The grounds are also great: some of us were birdwatching, others had fun picking apples, and others just enjoyed sitting on the large wrap around porch.

We loved the beautiful views. And the short drive to Langley was convenient. Plenty of space and bathrooms/bedrooms. Fire pit was nice.
