Overview

A panoramic view of Admiralty Bay, the Olympic Mountains, and truly spectacular sunsets awaits at this unique home above the western shores of Whidbey Island. Here in the outskirts of Coupeville, you'll be treated to a private hot tub, a beautiful deck, and 180-degree vistas of the ocean below. This property is made up of a distinctive, circular main home and an adjacent bunk house, with a sheltered dining patio connecting the two. You'll be a half-mile stroll from the pebbly shore of Ledgewood Beach County Park and just over six miles south of the Coupeville Ferry Terminal. It's a wonderful location for exploring the island, with Greenbank Farm, Fort Casey State Park, Ebey's Landing National Historical Reserve, and Coupeville all within 10 miles. After a morning spent hiking the Bluff Trail at Ebey's Landing, come home to savor a cup of local coffee outside on the wraparound deck. The outdoor spaces are enchanting, whether you're barbecuing and dining on the patio, watching for whales from the hot tub, or gazing out at the sunset while cozied up by the firepit. An entire wall of windows brings the same incredible view indoors, allowing you to admire the ocean and the distant mountains at every turn. The open floor plan brings together a well-equipped kitchen, a dining area for homemade dinners and board games afterward, and a living room where you can stream movies and listen to records in the warmth of the freestanding fireplace. There are two bedrooms in the main home and additional sleeping space across the patio in the bunk house, which also includes an area with counter space, a mini fridge, and a Keurig coffee maker. Bonus features of the property include a private washer/dryer, complimentary WiFi, and a basketball hoop for daily games of h-o-r-s-e. THINGS TO KNOW In May-September, this home will have a hammock, patio heater, and an additional firepit.

We loved the view!

Brittany K2026-07-08

This is a beautiful and unique house that overlooks the Sound. This is a great place to stay if you are looking for a peaceful and relaxing getaway. While we did have some minor issues with cleanliness, we would still recommend anyone stay here. The owner/Vacasa are very generous when it came to amenties that are provided for guests. We will be definitely be coming back to stay at this beautiful home again and it is easily one of our top five places to stay!

I will start by saying that we liked the property and are still interested in booking again for a future visit. However, I want to highlight a few items which I still believe warrant a follow-up: 1) No communication was received back during our visit when we reached out. 2) The quantity of paper towels and dishwashing detergent provided did not align with the agreement/pre-arrival info. This was most concerning since the instructions were very clear only the provide, septic-safe detergent could be used in the dishwasher. 3) The Wi-Fi information did not match the pre-arrival email. Luckily, we found the correct information on the second day of our trip. 4) There is a hive of ground hornets on the front lawn of the property (near the stone retaining wall). Multiple people in our group were bitten by these hornets.

The house was unique and lovely. The view from the living room was lovely even in the rain.

We absolutely loved our stay. The water views were beautiful and the entire home had such a peaceful, tranquil feel. It truly felt like a place to slow down and unwind. The house was thoughtfully stocked with everything you could need — games, books, records, cozy blankets, and plenty of towels. It’s a perfect spot if you’re looking to relax, unplug, and escape the busyness of day-to-day life. We would happily stay here again.
