This two-story cottage is wonderfully secluded in the outskirts of Clinton, about five miles from town and the ferry terminal. It's a beautiful setting for staying in and relaxing, yet you'll also be close to many wonders of Whidbey. Explore picturesque downtown Langley (five miles), Maxwelton Beach’s Dave Mackie County Park (playground, covered picnicking, swimming, and Olympic Mountain views), or take in the view at Double Bluff Beach (nine miles) where long beach hikes can be enjoyed. Also, consider a morning hike at South Whidbey State Park where beach access or old-growth “Classic U” trails are available (14 miles). Covered porches adorn both sides of the cottage, providing the perfect spot to sip your morning coffee and watch your kids play in the wildflower lawn. The interior is a showcase of timber craftsmanship, from the charming built-ins to the exposed rafters. Enjoy a well-equipped kitchen, a window side dining space, and a living room where you can snuggle up with a good movie and a view of the woods.
