Spyglass Beach House

I wish fewer people knew about it. It’s too terrific, too perfect, too beautiful, and honestly too expensive to continue renting annually. Given a wish, I’d rent this place annually for two weeks forever. I’ll miss you, turquoise house.

The location of this home was amazing. Being right on the beach was great for both my toddler and dogs. My husband was able to fish for the first time in years and actually had great luck on our final day. While the beach right in front of the house is private there are a lot of people coming in and out fishing throughout the day. It’s really not a place for your dogs to run around if that’s what you’re hoping for. We got all kinds of weather during our stay but really enjoyed sitting on the deck when it was warm and breezy. Watching the sunset was stunning. The beds are comfortable. Lots of extra towels and bedding if needed. The kitchen is well stocked. I appreciate there was cooking oil and some spices as well. There’s really no need to leave if you bring your own food to cook, which I highly recommend. We’d love to come back again and make more memories.

Lovely beach home with great views. The home is well maintained with a fun decor. The rock painting station was a big hit with our girls!

This house was AMAZING!!! It's right on the water, it's beautiful and has the best views! The house itself is gorgeous and spacious and very dog friendly! And the beds - so comfortable!

Cozy, welcoming, clean, accommodating and a fun location with great views! Viewing sunset, large ships and Harbor seals from from the hot tub! The home is so well furnished, our family of five felt right at home.

I absolutely loved my stay at Spyglass Beach House in Freeland. It was the relaxing break I truly needed. The interior is incredible: beautiful, thoughtfully designed, and so comfortable that I immediately felt at home. What really made this stay special was how easy it was to simply enjoy being there. Morning coffee with the view, cozy evenings, and the calming sound of the water made it hard to leave. I’m already planning to make this an annual retreat for myself. Some places are nice to visit once. This is the kind of place you keep thinking about long after you leave.
