Loved the books available to read - made me want to curl by the fire on the comfy couch and dive into one or two of them. My 3-yo nephew LOVED the octopus themed den, and the Villains (ahem, Ursula) boardgame. The kitchen was well supplied, the hot tub relaxing, and the private beach perfect for an evening paddle. Grandparents were pleased too!
This was a stunning house! My partner and I had a very relaxing weekend at this house. The hot tub was even warmed up when we arrived, which was a nice touch. The house was beautifully decorated and very clean, comfortable beds, lovely kitchen. One thing that we found a bit misleading, and frustrating was the fact that there was a third unit on the property, the Osprey Nest. When we rented this house, the listing led us to believe it was the entire property we rented— there was no mention of a third unit. So we found it a bit strange and frustrating when we saw another group arrive on the property and stay at the Osprey Nest. They also had access to the backyard and hot tub by our main house. Thankfully they were quiet and respectful, but it was still misleading and a bit frustrating to think we rented the entire property, only to find out there were other people staying in the house behind us.
Truly relaxing and beautiful home. I would come back in a heartbeat. My only complaint is there was no laundry on site for guests. This may not be a big issue for smaller groups. However, we traveled with small children and stayed for a week. It can be challenging to not have access to laundry onsite. There is coin operated laundry in Coupeville; however, we did not want to take time away from our trip to do that. Otherwise, the house was amazing and the views were gorgeous. It was quiet, quaint and a short drive to Highway 20 which connects you to the entire island.
Serenity, aside from the navy jets at bedtime.
We loved this house. Everything about it was beautiful, creative, and artfully designed. Perfect get away for our group. We had both the Oyster house and Oyster Den for a family gathering.
This home is beautiful and so serene. It was very clean and modern, and still cozy and felt homey. We loved the fireplace, the glorious book collection, the hot tub, the fire pit, and the magnificent view! The kitchen was awesome and had everything we needed to cook for our group. We highly recommend this spot and would love to make another visit. Thank you!
