Stunning Waterfront Estate with Private Beach Access and Hot Tub

This listing is an embarrassment to the Vacasa inventory. We have reached out repeatedly to Vacasa for support with our time spent at the Whole Ship. From the moment of our check in to early departure, the home, and customer support has been horrendous. Not only was the home not as described, but dirty and in significant disrepair (non-functioning lights, dirty bathrooms and kitchen, lack of cleaning supplies and even a garbage can in the kitchen. The hot tubs were filthy and not functioning. This is only the short version of a much longer that was immediately sent to Vacasa in writing and via phone with no recourse. Avoid this listing.

Gorgeous views and main living space however this home is lacking as a vacation stay for 18 people. There was no furniture on the front deck for us to sit outside and enjoy the water view. No trash cans in the bathrooms. No screens on any of the windows. One of the two ovens did not heat to temperature properly. The main kitchen was severely lacking in basic kitchen essentials for cooking like hot pads, tongs, salad bowls, and measuring cups. One of the hot tubs was smelly and not usable. The disposal drain in the sink was rancid smelling as well. The host did not reply to my questions about parking so that I could help my guests plan. We ended up being able to fit eight vehicles in the parking lot, but the parking should be described as a gravel lot and not a "driveway." A photo would be helpful in the listing to make it clear. The listing is for "the whole ship" yet I was only provided door code access for one of the units, and had to call customer support twice to obtain the additional door codes. The key for the main door was in a lock box underneath a garden hose- no instructions were given on that location. There were multiple lock boxes and a keypad on the door, none of them worked. Overall, for the price I paid I am unhappy with the quality of this home and the very poor communication from the host. All of the messages I received were very clearly auto generated or AI. I will return to using AirBnb for my next trip.
