Arcata Townhouse

Nice woody home!

Having driving access to town, Cal Poly, and convenient hiway ramps was great. The Townhouse had enough amenities but nothing you didn't need. Plenty of helpful instructions prior to arriving and during our stay. I wish there was a little walking trail down to campus though! We could hear Saturday night Student "Revelries" but nothing that was out of hand or disruptive to the neighborhood. We even had a banana slug visitor outside on the deck as we prepared to say goodbye on our last morning- a very authentic experience!

The house was immaculate. All of the communication was great. I liked that you sent a concise email about a week before the trip with all of the information I would need to make the most of our stay. I truly appreciate all you did to make this a great vacation.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the "Arcata Townhouse." Everything was as described, although we had overlooked the part about a tenant in the lower-level apartment. We had no interaction aside from a driveway wave, but we did wonder if the very loud water pipes bothered her (we could hear hers). The unit was conveniently located--a couple of minutes from 101--and quite well equipped with everything we needed for our stay; it all worked, too. A previous reviewer mentioned the two different streaming systems, and we experienced similar confusion as we (non-streamers, I'll admit) attempted to navigate access to television. After numerous vacations using Airbnb and Vrbo, we found our first experience with Vacasa to be quite positive. Communication was good throughout the process, staff was responsive, and the experience was manged well. We will explore Vacasa options in the future and would certainly not hesitate to return to the Arcata Townhouse.
