My best friend and I drove down from Portland to go hang out at the Redwoods and found this place. The location is amazing with a little river running right behind it. The pool was crystal clear very clean and we loved that amenity. There is absolutely no air conditioning and absolutely zero internet. And they clearly state it on there properties ad. Not having AC was horrible because it's very hot in the peak of Summer and there were only two fans and they were old. We really didn't sleep the two nights we were there because it was so hot with very little relief. The pool has two chairs to sit in but no lay down loungers or pool toys so bring your own. And there isn't really an outdoor table to sit out to eat with an umbrella that you would expect. The backside of the property does get shade. The big wood fireplace that shown in the ad doesn't really seem accessible. With the few improvements like internet AC or just better fans I would have given it a five because the location is beautiful and the stars at night are incredible you can't even imagine.

This is the third time staying at this vacation home. One of my absolute favorite places. The house is always clean and in excellent condition. The location is just a few minutes from Willow Creek stores and food options, yet you feel far away from civilization. I did call Vacasa for the gate code to the river and the staff was courteous and prompt. The kitchen is well equipped for all basic cooking, and then some. Having both the pool and river access make this the primary reason I keep choosing this home. The river access is not as maintained as past trips, but we made it there nonetheless. We caught fish and sat in the sun, then enjoyed the time around the pool during the latter parts of the day. There is no WiFi, so it made for quality family time every evening. The perfect getaway!
