Outside, your furry companions will love zig-zagging through the fully enclosed backyard. A washer/dryer adds convenience during your stay. I stayed here while visiting family after discovering that my usual rental wasn't available. Since I travel with my two small dogs, I was grateful to find such a welcoming pet-friendly home, especially during one of the busiest times of the year in the area. Although the location was farther from my family than I would have preferred, the home itself was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed for my stay. I especially appreciated the thoughtful pet-friendly touches, including a water bowl and dog waste bags. Despite allowing pets, the house was exceptionally clean, which was impressive. The home is tucked away in a peaceful, quiet neighborhood, making it a relaxing place to unwind. The neighbors I encountered were friendly and welcoming with a wave, adding to the pleasant atmosphere. Overall, I had a comfortable stay and would recommend this home to anyone looking for a clean, quiet, and genuinely pet-friendly place to stay.

We enjoyed this cottage far more than a hotel for our family of 4. Pluses were the kids had a separate room so we could stay up a bit later, washing machine with powder provided, ability to cook/eat at the house, and the large grassed yards that my kids loved playing in. It felt safe to allow the kids some freedom to play outside with all the fencing.

We rented this as a home base so we wouldn't intrude on our daughter day to day. (She lives in eureka) Nice area, felt safe, comfortable. Washer dryer. AND SOAP provided. Very cute.

We love this little house. The location is perfect for us. It is close to my daughter's house, a grocery market, and is walking distance to some beautiful trails in the redwoods. The area is quiet; the neighborhood is very friendly. The house is very clean and has nice appliances. The bed and furniture are comfortable. We were even offered an early check in and a late check out. Perfect house for 2 people. We plan to rent it again if it is available for our next stay in Eureka.
