We loved our stay at Serendipity and felt at home with the amenities provided in the home. The beds were comfortable and had wonderful linens and pillows for a good night's sleep. Shower was roomy and had good pressure. It is a gated community, so if you are traveling alone that is an added safety feature. The icing on the cake is the open and airy feel of the home with a beautiful view so one can enjoy watching all of the wildlife as the sun starts to rise or set.

My husband, dog, and I had a great experience! The house clearly has been somewhat updated. The beds were comfortable. We loved sitting on the back porch overlooking the forest where we got to see wild turkeys and dear! It was great being near town for food and groceries (groveland is so quaint)! The $50 gate fee is annoying as we knew we would not be using any amenities but know the owners have no control over this. This house was a great base and so nice to come back to after long days of exploring!

We stayed there for 4th of July and again this past weekend for my dad’s funeral. It was much cleaner in July than this time. The bathroom rugs should be washed between renters as well as the duvet covers and shams. They have been so dirty both times that I washed them myself. My biggest issue is that there are zero cleaning supplies and limited essential supplies. Nothing to use to clean the counter and no Windex. The dining table is glass, so windex would be nice as well as bleach wipes. The first time we stayed, we were left with one pack of dishwasher detergent and a mini dish soap. This time, there wasn’t any and no laundry detergent. I learned my lesson last time and brought dish and laundry pods, but we ran out of toilet paper and paper towels. That should never happen when you’re renting a place for four nights! The tear in the ottoman hasn’t been repaired and the tears on the dining table had the worst repair jobs ever. Looks worse now. Honestly, just put some Tupperware or ziplocks along with enough toilet paper, paper towels, and basic cleaning supplies and this would be a 5-star stay every time. While I will continue to rent it for the proximity of my mom’s house, I shouldn’t have to bring supplies to keep it clean throughout my stay each time and it would make it easier on your cleaning crew. We also were only given one kitchen garbage bag.
