Parkside Paradise

We were celebrating Thanksgiving away from home with our daughter’s family and our grandson, who plays hockey in Rapid City. This house worked well for our group. The kitchen was well stocked and had plenty of room for meal prep. The beds are extremely comfortable and I even looked at the make (Ashley) when I stripped the one I was sleeping on. Very nice quiet location - close to everything we needed. The HVAC isn’t distributing the heat evenly between the upstairs and downstairs. The bedrooms would be fine, but the downstairs would be almost cold. Someone else mentioned a problem with the TV in the living room. We had to keep rebooting the software to get rid of the annoying message blocking part of the screen.

Very clean, great location

Open floor plan, 4 bedrooms, large bathrooms…. Excellent decor

The location was quite. The beds were comfortable, kitchen well stocked with pots and pans. The thermostat was upstairs so in order to keep the upstairs cool the downstairs was freezing. No shower downstairs, the multi bed room is downstairs. The living room has a step down which you can't see well and everyone fell into it. Dangerous for elderly people. Patio was great. Plenty of seating for everyone in the house in the kitchen and living room. Garage is not available, but plenty of parking outside.

Kitchen good

This place was absolutely fantastic, especially for the price. It's very spacious and perfect for larger groups — with four bedrooms, I think it could comfortably accommodate 7 to 8 people. We were a group of four adults and one child, and thoroughly enjoyed every day we spent here. There are three things I especially appreciated: 1. The kitchenware was complete, clean, and looked quite new — very well-prepared for guests. 2. The bathrooms, including the bathtubs, were modern and in great condition. The hot water was strong and consistent, making for very comfortable showers. 3. The neighborhood was incredibly peaceful and quiet, which made for a relaxing stay. It’s also conveniently located — just under 10 minutes' drive to Walmart, and very close to attractions like the Reptile Gardens and Bear Country. I have a few small suggestions that might help make this great place even better: 1. A crib or baby cot would be a wonderful addition for families traveling with infants. 2. We couldn't find a working thermostat or indoor climate control — the device appeared to be offline during our stay. 3. A few minor cleaning details could use attention, like some leftover hairs in the bathroom — nothing major, but worth noting. These are not complaints, just small ideas that could further enhance an already excellent experience. Wishing you all the best and continued success!
