Crooked Canyon Lodge

location was perfect from attractions, peace and quiet setting, home big enough where everyone (all 12 of us) were comfortable. And loved Sage the dog. Gave us all loving!

The location was perfect, quiet but still close to amenities with plenty of room inside and out. The deck was very nice for early morning coffee and the hot tub was nice after a day of exploring the national parks also we brought along our Indian motorcycles so we had to go to Sturgis. There is room for our 7x16 trailer in the top area if you’re thinking of bringing bikes. Our co-host Sage was quite helpful every morning and evening for breakfast and dinner. Sage is the neighbors dog. Hahaha we loved it!! But if you don’t want her over just tell her to go home and she will leave with her head hung and fully try to guilt trip you 🤪🐕. Very nice stay and would highly recommend it also the host is very accommodating and will even call you to make sure everything is going smoothly.

This is a wonderful place to stay! It has easy access to the highway and Rapid City, yet was so quiet we didn't hear any traffic or any of the neighbors. The yard is beautiful with a huge deck, perfect for that early morning coffee. The house is huge, with plenty of space, and the rooms actually felt bigger than the pictures showed. The beds are comfortable, and the hot tub was a nice bonus for the end of the day. I have read some reviews which cautioned that the thermostat cannot be adjusted. This is true, but was never a concern. Upon checking in I received a text with the number in case we wanted the thermostat changed, but we never felt the need. No matter the outside temperature, the inside temperature was very comfortable. This is an excellent place to call home while you are touring the Black Hills!

Peaceful place to stay and in a great location when visiting Rapid city. Could use some updating.
