Surrounded by Black Hills forest, it's a popular spot to unwind after a day on the slopes, trails, or touring the Hills, with a wrap-around deck and a private six-person hot tub for soaking under the stars. Outdoor dining areas and a private gas grill set the stage for family barbecues against a stunning backdrop, and a double sofa bed adds extra sleeping space. You're close to Deadwood gaming, dining, and attractions, with Sturgis, Terry Peak, and Mount Rushmore all within reach — a comfortable, convenient Black Hills basecamp.

Great location and perfect size home

Just outside of Deadwood, this stay provides scenic views from the comfortable patio or interior furniture. The cabin has privacy and is up off the road a bit making it exceptionally quiet. The hot tub and fire place add to the ambiance; being able to use 1 stall of the garage is an unexpected added bonus. The home included many small things that made the stay even more enjoyable: paper towels, coffee filters, coffee grinder, basic spices and condiments, etc. The beds and pillows were exceptionally comfortable. We will look for availability at the Lazy Bear Lodge for future trips.

We were extremely pleased with the space in this home. It was nice to have a full living room both up and down stairs. The beds and all of the furniture was very comfortable. The cleanliness of the home was top notch and we have high expectations in this department. The only down side to this property was the owner's car left in the garage which we were unable to move. The photos showed an empty garage which was one of the primary reasons we selected this property. We rented it for Kool Deadwood Nights and wanted the garage space for two cars we brought for the auction.
