I loved having the multiple pools, restaurants, bar and gift shop. The lobby was very nice and clean. The room was ok- had a horribly musty damp smell that was difficult to remedy. There was a broken drawer and no wash clothes on our arrival. Staff did bring wash cloths and offered to send maintenance for the drawer. This was a short stay so no need for drawers but wanted to alert them so we weren’t charged for damages. Overall it was nice but once getting home we noticed our debit card had unauthorized charges from the restaurant bar and/or gift shop and the resort staff were not helpful in sorting things out- that is why I recommend using cash in the future to avoid this hassle.
Exactly what was advertised. Beautiful view. And a perfect room for our family of 4. Plenty of swimming amenities and easy parking in the garage. Would and will stay again!
Location front desk people outstanding
We love the Baywatch and have booked with Vacasa at other properties as well. This rental was very clean and the beds were comfortable. The furnishings are a little dated but well kept. Our concerns on this trip actually came from interactions with the staff and behavior of other guests. On our first night there we received a phone call from from the front desk at 10:15 pm, after my husband and I had fallen asleep, asking if a smoke detector in our room was going off (which is understandable). When my husband informed them that there was no alarm going off in our room the front desk told him that others had complained stating it was our room and they’d ’notified security’. I’m not sure what the purpose of the attitude was from the front desk as they would have clearly been able to hear a smoke alarm going off in our room over the phone if one was going off. We also called and informed the front desk 3 separate times regarding another guest smoking marijuana on their balcony. It made it so that it was unenjoyable to be sitting on ours as the smoke was drifting two balconies over to ours. This really put a damper on being able to enjoy our space as we’d booked an oceanfront room with the specific purpose of being able to sit on the balcony and enjoy the ocean.
