This adorable 1950s beach house is what memories are made of! Once inside you'll see just what a true 'Ocean Gem' this home is. All original heart pine interior feautres and door hardware make this home so very unique - perfectly decorated and updated, and used only by the family for several generations... Until now. Sit in a rocker on the front porch and enjoy an ocean view while you sip your morning coffee at sunrise or relax with cocktails in the afternoon. Come home from the beach and wash off the sand under one of two outdoor showers. The kitchen is so cute and well equipped to cook meals, and there are plenty of board games here for the whole family to enjoy. What's nearby: When you're ready to explore, there are so many things to chose from, like a day at Barefoot Landing for shopping, dining, and live entertainment! Go outlet shopping at the Tanger Outlet Mall, just a few miles south on Highway 17 in Myrtle Beach, or catch a movie at the Myrtle Beach Mall. Take the family out for a night of bowling at 710 bowling in North Myrtle Beach. Or go fishing right off the Cherry Grove Pier, just a few minutes from your front door. The only thing that was good was the location and the price. Cleanliness definitely needs to be worked on. Dust especially on the window seals, vents, blinds and other furniture. Black mold it looks like on the kitchen vent. Floors desperately need to be swept, mopped, swept again and mopped again. Sand all in both beds. “Dead” water bug near the bed. Old piles of dog poop out on the back yard. This place needs a lot of TLC especially on the front porch and also around back the shower shack won’t shut unless you pull really hard. This would be better for older kids or a smaller family. There is a lot of traffic both walking and cars/golf carts so you hear a lot of loud noises. I have a 1 year old girl and it was hard to get her to sleep with the noise and same for my 6 year old son.

This place is small. But for a family of 3 or 4, it's just right. 30 seconds to the beach. One bathroom, but 2 outdoor showers. We will definitely try to stay here again!
