Water pressure was great.

We have booked several VRBO's for family vacations. We were in the area for a baseball tournament/family vacation. Upon arrival there were several issues with the unit and other than an 800 number to reach customer service at VACASA, there was no remedy for several issues. One of the bathroom doors was not on the door - it was laying in the bedroom closet as it appeared to have been kicked down from a previous renter - this was realized upon arrival and not because it was communicated previously to us. We feel firmly that this should have been disclosed to us along with information on when this would be repaired. The bathroom was essentially not private until we basically demanded a remedy. Renting a until for thousands of dollars and having to demand a solution for bathroom privacy is ridiculous. All 3 sliding glass doors are unsafe and can be opened from pulling on the door handles as the locking mechanism doesn't work. You MUST use the safety bar to secure the door and not just as an extra precaution. The back sliding door provides access to the pool area and there is door to that balcony, with a fake lock that doesn't lock either. The front door is a keypad system - it is difficult to use if the sun is too bright and is sensitive to the touch. There did happen to be a keybox on the door frame of the front door but we were not provided the code for it as I would have preferred to use the key instead of the keypad. There appears to be a deadlock type lock on the front door. However, it seems to be for decoration. The knob turns from the inside but there is no locking mechanism - it's just for show. The pull out bed/couch is only partially usable. There are sheets, with no instructions on where to find them and there are no blankets for the bed - so you have to be okay with a sheet only. There are more than enough extra pillows. The wi-fi network name and password were totally different than what was provided initially, which took a call to VACASA to figure out. I'm not sure the purpose of texting the information to us before arrival, if it isn't correct. For the first day, we could only get the bedroom TV's to connect to the streaming/cable service. It was when the maintenance person had some to look at the lock that he was able to explain the living room remotes to me. In every other VRBO we have rented, there has always been the ability to email through the site to the owner to ask questions. That doesn't exist with this unit or with VACASA. With other rentals, there has always been an information sheet or book as to functionality in the units/houses. There is no informational book or information in the unit to explain any of the issues or provide information for a local contact - we made probably 4 or more calls to the 800 customer service number. When i did receive a call from a local contact, i called them back 3 times, left a message and never heard from them. Terrible experience...

Great location! Clean and safe. Nice pool and hot tub. Quiet.
