We enjoyed the views and the room was beautiful! Even though it rained all weekend the room was nice and cozy! We still enjoyed the pool and hot tub in the rain! We will be back to visit again!

The location is the selling point for this place. We had a few encounters with cockroaches in the kitchen area but was told that’s to be expected by some of the locals. The bedding in both bedrooms and pull out couch bed smelled like it hadn’t been cleaned in a long time, it just really stunk bad like dirty clothes and sweat. Everything else was pretty clean. The couch is worn down as well as the pillows on the side chairs, the outdoor patio chairs were pretty beat up but again, it’s outdoor patio furniture and those things do happen so it wasn’t a big deal. Everyone we seen was super friendly, mainly guests we mingled with during elevator trips to and from our room to the beach and whatnot ~ on that some times the elevators were slow getting to you which again, there are 20+ floors and lots of guests at one time so that’s to be expected too. A little patience goes a long way! Overall we had a wonderful experience in room 1808 at the Palace. I would go back.
