Magnolia Place at Myrtlewood

My family and I went on our yearly family vacation too Myrtle Beach. This property was the best we have stayed at yet. So beautiful, clean and 3 mins away from everything! Beach, boardwalk, supermarket, gas station, wax museum. It had a pool too, and came with starter packs for detergent, and soap. I cannot wait to book this property again! Beautiful

So relaxing to sit on the balcony watching the golfers play. Many pools to choose from and convenient location for beach and entertainment

The view was beautiful. The house was clean. Couldn't figure out how to turn on the bedroom TV's. Lamp in one bedroom wouldn't work. Other than those 2 things everything was great.

This was the perfect family getaway for our group of six. Each King room accommodated family perfectly and the remaining kids were able to sleep on the pull-out couch. We found the condo clean and relaxing! The elevator to the third floor made this easy and accessible to get to. The balcony overlooking the golf course and retaining pond made a peaceful environment to wake up, drink coffee, and admire the turtles each morning. If you're not looking for something ocean front, this is the greatest place to come. Very affordable. Very accommodating. Very relaxing! We found all of the directions and amenities easy to use other than the code on the door to get in was a little tricky at times. When we needed to call vacasa, they were quick to answer and help us immediately!! Great stay. We highly recommend it!

We really wanted to like this place more than we did. The pictures were much better than the experience. PROs The location is great, just off the main road in a nice, quiet part of town. It is pretty central and close to many restaurants, grocery stores and other amenities. It was great to get up in the morning and sit on the balcony that overlooked the golf course. The condo is on the 3rd floor so having an elevator was a great bonus. CONs The condo is a little outdated and not in the best condition. Immediately upon entering, there was a big wet-looking stain on the carpet that was actually dry, so it had been there a while. I flagged it right away and the team was quick to respond to send cleaners over to take care of it but we declined as we were only there for 3 night. After declining, I started to notice all the other things that were not clean: a clump of hair and fuzz behind the BA door, a big smear on the BA mirror, a few dead bugs on the kitchen window sill, a big chunky smear of something on the chrome faucet in the kitchen, oil-like stains on one of the pillow case covers in the 2nd BR, hairspray on the floor and walls in the BA, spider webs and wasps (and a wasp nest) all over the balcony, broken blinds throughout the unit. In addition to the messes, the couch is the most uncomfortable piece of furniture I ever sat on. It is a pullout, but the mattress must be oversized because the top (where you sit) doesn’t lay flat. The back of the seat cushion is probably 4-5” higher than the front of the seat cushion making it impossible to get comfortable in this “lift” position. To add to the frustration, the key pad to enter took some getting used to, and the instructions left for turning on the TV in the common area was not even close to accurate. The TV in the primary BR just wouldn’t turn on the first day. Three adults couldn’t figure it out. I sent photos and communicated most of this day one. It is unfortunate my cleaning deposit (at the very least) wasn’t refunded since it clearly wasn’t clean to begin with. I would pass on this if given another opportunity to book.
