After a fun day at the beach, you can come home to throw your sandy beachwear into the private washer/dryer then amble out to enjoy a refreshing drink while watching the golfers right across the way. Have a little work to do while you're here? The home is equipped with a work desk and chair and the fast WiFi will make it easy to perform some online research for those last-minute projects. The fan or light fixture did not work, there was dirt on some of the doors, the towel rack was broken in half, there was not a toilet roll handle in the second bathroom, and only one set of towels per person. I had to call several times to get anyone to the room, in which they were supposed to call before coming and did not. The manager asked if we wanted bags of ice because the refrigerator or freezer wasn’t working and we never got it. Then the maintenance guy came (again unannounced) at 2pm on the day and time we were leaving. This is not noted but this is a 2nd floor apartment with no handicap accessibility.

DO NOT RENT THIS UNIT! Pictures are deceptive on line. The unit was filthy dirty, crusted food on the cereal bowls, other dirty dishes. The unit was worn out, walls dirty, bathrooms not clean and very out dated. We left and called the 800 # and while they were friendly they did not help to accommodate us. We ended up at a hotel. We have 5 people including an infant that we needed to find hotels for in Myrtle beach in July. Pictures of the unit sent. I will never use any property by VaCasa again. We have not received a refund either this is a scam of a company. This company is not customer focused at all. Our refund is supposed to take 10 days although they took our money instantly when we booked it a month ago. I will tell everyone I know not to book with this company. VRBO should not partner with this company.

Overall a great home. We enjoyed our stay. The messaging service to get customer service help is kind of a pain. And our door code didn’t work 4 out of the 5 days. But furniture was decent and kitchen was stocked with enough cooking supplies to feed our fam and friends.
