Renaissance towers itself is a beautiful and peaceful place right on the beach. The pools, kids waterpark, and just all the amenities the Myrtle Beach Resort community has to offer was fabulous. All of the employees at RT was so friendly. The game room was very fun as well.

I’ve been waiting on a response from management after our stay but have had no response so writing this review to keep others updated on this. There is a major hot water issue so only stay if you like cold showers. I asked about this before booking because of previous reviews and was told that they fixed this problem which was not true. We were asked to time the hot water in each bathroom after telling them about the hot water issue. The front room with the queen had hot water for just over 4 minutes. The other bathroom had hot water for about 7 minutes. The only hot shower I got the entire stay was downstairs in a public bathroom by the indoor hot tub. The room was not very clean. There was hair in each bathroom drain which I had to unclog myself and it was disgusting. The other bathroom shower wouldn’t drain properly and it was probably because there was a clog in there as well. There was a very dirty pan that was put away into a cabinet and we could not believe the housekeeping/cleaners would put it away for a guest to find like that. The queen bedroom also was hard to keep as cool as the rest of the condo because of the location of the vent. I recommend bringing a fan. The actual building and all the amenities, beach, and pools were very enjoyable.
