Shoreline Serenity at River Oaks

The location is amazing, close to the airport and the place itself is clean, functional and very comfortable. I had the time of my life in Myrtle and I would definitely go again.

Easy in easy out. Good location to get anywhere. Place was clean and had everything we needed. Even found time to hang out in the pool and hot tub. I’d definitely go back.

This was a great place to stay, I would stay here again. Very clean and organized. We really enjoyed our stay.

Last minute booking worked out as Evolve cancelled a stay 30 minutes before check in. It is a good central location. The place was big enough and worked out well. Little maintenance issues (the toilet seat not bolted down, doors not fitting great) and the beds were so so on being comfortable. Happy I found something last minute.

This was my second time with a Vacasa rental and it was not a positive experience. I requested an early check in which I was told might be possible. No only did I not get a notification that the room was ready at 4pm, obviously not early, but when I searched the app for the address there was no room number. I had to call the customer service number to find out which room in the building was mine. It was not a quick process and the first person I told to suggested I check the text, the text that was not sent. Only later did they admit that they sent the text, still missing the room number, to a different number, not the ONLY number that is on my profile. Also, it was raining as we stood with our luggage while waiting for the extremely unhelpful agent to find the number. When we were finally told the room number the lock stuck. It took several tries, despite my knowledge and experience with these locks, to get into the room. An hour later my son left only to be unable to get back in because the lock broke. Nobody on the phone was helpful as they were in a call center and they would not give me the number of anyone local. Eventually they sent Alex, who, as mentioned above, was the ONLY positive part of this experience. He had to climb through the bedroom window, remove the lock completely, go buy a new lock, and replace it. During this time we were unable to leave to get food as we were LOCKED IN THE ROOM FOR HOURS. The beds were like sleeping on cardboard and the pillows were incredibly cheap and thin. Nothing about this rental was comfortable. To be transparent, they did refund me $75 of the $450 I spent but that was a drop in the bucket. We had to miss our dinner/evening plans because we were trapped in the rental. I will not be using this company again.
