The pool, the bar, and the room

the only thing that was good was oceanfront. The rest was a nightmare!

The room was outstanding I loved the balcony . Nice and with alot of space

Ocean views was great, and pools were good.

The swimming pool, the shower, the bed. In the oceanfront.

Price was good for the size of the apartment. But bath tub and shower had rough places on the bottom of the tub/shower floor, bathroom door panel on the inside was separated from the door and could have cut my wife or myself if we hadn’t seen it. The kitchen cabinets were pretty rough around the door edges. Had to have maintenance come in the next day to fix a broken lock on the bedroom side sliding glass door. Also had an outlet literally falling out of the wall that needed repairing which was very unsafe and could have shorted out and caused a fire. Channels on the two TVs had different channels on them with no guide to know what channel they were on for viewing enjoyment. It was a crap shoot. Overall clean apartment but needs updating badly. We stayed there over 30 years ago and it was ver Nice back then. But owners need to invest some money to bring it back to its glory days. Also the pools should have been heated for this time of year so customers could enjoy using them. Only the very small lazy river inside was heated. So we couldn’t use and enjoy the pools on the property. The Indigo restaurant on the property was absolutely amazing thanks to Wendy and Amanda and the cook staff there. Some of the best food we ate on the grand strand and sadly the Patricia Grand does a VERY VERY VERY poor job promoting it. Especially for the sake of the bar and wait staff there whose income depends on tips and good size crowds. They where very slow the 3 times we ate there. Shame on you owners of the Patricia Grand. When I asked one of the front desk staff for a menu instead of getting off their bottom and handing me a menu. She just pointed to a place where they where setting on the counter instead of getting off her bottom and handing me one like she should have done. Not one person at the front desk made an attempt or effort to promote such a great restaurant. Very sad and uncalled for. Again the owners or company that runs the Patricia Grand needs to get their head out of the sand and fix this place up and run a tighter ship. You can do sooo much better with some investment in maintenance and marketing. It’s not that hard. Laziness and lack of care, concern, and vision will kill you’re business. It’s like no one in ownership and management really cares? Time to step up folks.
