Carolinian Beach Resort 1831

The stay at this hotel was very good. I recommend this place.

It was basically a apartment, nice view , nice stay

I loved the ocean front view from the 18th floor. The location was also great. Very close to shops and restaurants.

The matreses are worn out. the springs pop and snap as you lay on the bed and they are lumpy. The bath tub is cracked, not leaking, but spider webbed. The toilet is loose and rocks when you get on and off. The stove top is not installed correctly, it is not sitting properly. Add to that the burner eyes sit at an angle so bad you can't put a pot on them. This is because they have installed the wrong burned pans, these have no slit in them for the burners to sit in, so they are propped up at an angle, so that a pot can not sit flat. The sleeper sofa is so uncomfortable we had to bring pillows from the bedroom to sit on. The service for the TV is so confusing we could not understand how to operate it for the most part. We were able to figure out how to use the Bluray, but about every other chanel kept asking for some sort of subscruiption. Perhaps providing some sort of discription on how to use the TV and the Cable company set up would help. We have stayed in this room a few times now, I am disabled and even though it is not designated a handicapped room, I was able to get my scooter all the way into the unit and was able to utilize the unit with out much trouble. We love the view and the size of the room. The above problems, we just worked around. With out those problems we would have had a 10/10 stay. The staff, when we needed them, were helpful and friendly. The first night of our stay and neighboring unit was aving a party at 10:30pm and we had to call the front desk. We were told that quiet time was 11:00pm to 8:00am, but I read them the caontract we signed that said 10:00pm to 8:00am, and they fixed the problem. We had great weather, except for the cold wind, sunny and clear. Was a great vacation.
