Seahorse Serenity

The house is very spacious and has a great layout for families or larger groups. The location is one of its biggest strengths—it’s only one block from the beach, close to grocery stores, and within walking distance of family entertainment options. Unfortunately, the property had several maintenance and cleanliness issues that affected our stay. There was a cockroach found in the lower-level queen bedroom. The pool was dirty and full of debris upon arrival. The stove exhaust hood fan was not working, and the hot burner indicator light remained illuminated even when no burners were on. There was visible mold on the kitchen ceiling above the doorway to the left of the sink. The bunk room had a vibration or mechanical noise throughout the night that made it difficult for occupants to sleep. The sink in the lower-level queen bedroom drained extremely slowly. The upstairs balcony glass door was cracked, creating a potential safety concern. Additionally, the refrigerator leaked water from the freezer section into the refrigerator compartment. The kitchen table and chairs also appeared worn, weak, and wobbly, making them less than ideal for family meals. Overall, the home has great potential due to its size and excellent location, but it needs attention to several maintenance, cleanliness, and safety issues before I would consider staying there again.

We chose this home because it was close to our wedding venue and it would accommodate our family. When we arrived on 5/14/26, the pool was dirty. I contacted Vacasa and they told me someone would contact me to have that remedied. Someone came at 5:30 on Friday after our wedding with a pool full of ppl and we asked them to come back. They said they would the next day at 10 am, they arrived around noon. Also on the day of check in the downstairs air didn’t really work (upstairs was 69 and downstairs never got below 76), I contacted them again and they said someone would contact us and no one ever did. We checked out today Sunday 5/17/26 and it still hadn’t been addressed. There were quiet hours that we were asked in the booking to adhere too and we did but none of the neighbors across the road did. Several nights from 11pm- 3am we were awaken to loud music, people yelling and motorcycles roaring and doing burnouts. We had 5 small children who were constantly getting woke up from the noise. The upstairs looked as if it had been remodeled within the last few years but the downstairs had not. Furniture could use an update especially downstairs. King bed was actually 2 twin mattresses pushed together with sheet on top so there was a significant gap in between them. My new husband says warning if you are taller than 5ft tall, the master toilet is almost impossible to use due to the very low ceiling. Though there is ample cooking utensils (pots, pans, plates, glasses, silverware) there isn’t any dry food storage except for the kitchen counter. The location to the beach and local amenities was fabulous. The area around the pool was very nice with chairs, tables and umbrellas so it made for cooking out an extra plus. Plenty of parking for our family. Convenient access to the pool, parking and both balconies with ample seating with doors on multiple levels.

The bed in the Master bedroom is AMAZING and the heat and water pressure in the shower was perfect!!!!

The home is perfect for vacation regardless of the size of your family. There are multiple bedrooms with dedicated bathrooms. The kitchen included all of the dishes and appliances you would need if you choose to cook. The house is very clean with a full size washer and dryer. The house has a beautiful pool with a spacious patio area and is very close to the beach.
