Had a quick family trip to Myrtle Beach, and this place was perfect! Beautiful view, nice and cool inside, a little dated but is perfectly fine. Loved the lazy river, too! Would stay here again!

The view, the amenities and cleanliness

Unit worked for what our family needed. The location was great and the pools were great.

Everything was good, but what I love the most was the Customer Service and the Location. I definitely will be staying with them again. They help to make my birthday a success.

I recently stayed at Camelot by the Sea through Vacasa, and overall, the room itself was quite nice. The beach view from the balcony was beautiful — the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the ocean breeze. The room came well-equipped with great amenities: a stove, refrigerator, microwave, and two TVs. The bathroom was a comfortable size and everything inside felt clean and well-maintained. However, there were a few frustrations that made the experience less smooth. The parking garage is extremely tight — even driving a compact car was a challenge. Upon arrival, the keypad lock to the room didn’t work properly, and it took about 15 minutes of trying before we managed to get inside. Unfortunately, we then had to wait nearly three hours for someone to bring an actual key we could use, since the keypad knobs kept getting stuck. Throughout that time, customer service was not very helpful, which was disappointing. When Andrew, the maintenance guy, finally arrived, he was fantastic — friendly, efficient, and clearly eager to fix the problem. He really turned our experience around. One note: the front desk staff mentioned they aren’t affiliated with the Vacasa-managed rooms, so coordination can be tricky. The room and view were great, but customer service and access issues made the stay more stressful than it should have been. I’d recommend booking directly with the hotel instead of through Vacasa to avoid similar hassles.
