Everything was perfect really enjoyed my stay was very comfortable amazing view
Great ocean view!
When arrived a few minutes after 4, cleaning people were still in room, ok no big, deal, they left came back about 5 mins later to hand us the bootle that go in shower and said we could put them in there. not very professional. then we could only access 1 of our units, it took until after noon on day 2 for us to get a code to unlock the door. yes i did get refunded for that night, however we were 2 beds short, and missed our dinner reservations waiting for a response for someone to fix it. Now the gentleman who called us to fix it, was very nice and professional. Now as for the room itself, very basic, nothing wowing, wifi was absolutly horrible, could not watch a show for more than 5 minutes without having issues, would have watched a dvd however had no rca jacks to hook to tv, and it had nothing to do with the weather. bedroom in 722 the ceiling is literally falling down on top of people. you can see the ceiling peeling, which i beleive inhaling this made all of us sick, white chalky stuff was everywhere in the room, living room floor boards are coming lose, kitchen, lol please update the cooking utensils, there are broken ones for us to use. room 724, same wifi issue, lamp hanging from ceiling looks like it is going to fall out of ceiling, lamp has a short in it, bathroom toilet keeps making noises, also cleaning people did not do very good job, as we found english muffins, and 2 bottle of pills. Everything needs a quick update and refresh, but did love the net on the balcony, that gave me reassurance.
The view was the only good part about this particular facility
Before you book any place with this group check the place out first. We were locked out of our room for three hours and we didn’t arrive until there VERY late check in time. I’m elderly and waiting to get into a room after traveling for 5 hours to get there was awful. The hotel managers master key didn’t even work and his key is supposed to open every door on the complex. The pools were all filthy. Scummy on all sides. The ac units in the rooms needed cleaning the one in my daughter’s room was so nasty it was blowing out warm air and dust. She has asthma and we had to make a trip to Urgent care. They didn’t have parking passes and we didn’t get those until the second day we were there. We were told the coffee pot was for pods so we bought coffee pods but once we got in the room it was an ancient pot that uses filters. The room was musty smelling but you couldn’t be on the balcony because the guests beneath our room huffed pot so heavily if you went out you couldn’t get a contact high from their smoke. My bed sheets were full of sand so before I could even lay down I had to change my sheets. And the furniture is very old, the sofa looked like it had been chewed up by something. The popcorn ceiling in my bedroom was falling down everywhere. There was a frying pan and one very small pot so unless you bring your own cookware forget cooking a meal. This was not a cheap vacation. I have had better experiences at Days Inn than we had here.
It had a beautiful beach view and a great pool and hot tub...the room itself though was terrible and would not recommend unless they clean it up!
