A paved, seven-mile bike trail is also accessible from your stay, and private beach access is roughly an eight-minute walk. Myrtle Beach is an additional 30-minute drive to the north and Charleston is an hour and a half to the south. An extra bonus, there is a large parking lot adjacent to the beach that is conveniently located for effortless travel with coolers, beach chairs, and towels. Even during the summer months, there are ample vacant parking spots available. Things to Know Litchfield by the Sea charges a mandatory resort fee of $15 per night, capped at $210. The fee is charged as part of your reservation at the time of booking.
